We recognise that apart from enjoying today there are many tomorrows for your children. That is why we offer students a variety of opportunities to develop their strengths and to gain experiences that will hopefully benefit them once they have moved beyond Our Saviour and entered their teenage and adult years.
Our exciting Outdoor Education Program promotes a respect for the environment as well developing our students team building skills. From the "almost sleep over" experienced by our Reception students, to the more extended experiences such as a "ZooSnooze", "Toc H camp", "Woodhouse" , "Wirraway" - to the ultimate experience!!! , ‘Sinai Challenge’,which endeavours to develop survival skills, as well as promoting a heart of service and a desire to learn new skills.
Sleepovers and annual camps also support students in developing independence and life skills like teamwork and resilience as well as camaraderie and friendships amongst classmates. Stimulating, educational and memorable excursions, along with ‘Tournament of Minds’, a problem solving competition, also allows students to follow their passions and their strengths so that they can achieve their very best.
Lunch time Clubs such as Art Club, Chess Club, LunchClub (friendship program run by our Community Carer) allows opportunities for students wishing to develop those skills with their friends.
Our LAP programme also assists students in being able to grow in ways that will help them experience success and joy at school and in their everyday lives.
